Classes
Welcome to our studio sanctuary — a place where creation is slow, sacred, and a little bit magical. At Clayrose Pottery, our classes are more than just skill-building sessions; they’re soulful experiences rooted in presence, play, and personal expression. Whether you're coiling curves inspired by the body, sculpting a mug with a muse’s face, or sharing laughter on a Sunday clay date, each workshop is designed to nourish your hands and your heart.
Form and Flora
A four-week bloom of clay, heart, and intention
In this gentle journey of hand and spirit, we gather to shape more than just vessels-we shape offerings. You'll learn to form organic vases with your hands as guides, not rulers-each curve a reflection of breath, memory, and feeling.
Week by week, your piece will come to life and as it dries, so will your roots deepen. In the final class, we'll fill our vessels with fresh florals-each stem placed with care, each bloom a whisper from the heart.
-
Hand-built vases shaped with intuition
-
A nurturing space to explore imperfection as beauty
-
Final floral arranging session to honor your creation
-
Open studio access to continue your practice

Come as you are. Leave with something sacred.

Her Form as Vessel
A Coil-Built Sculpture Class
In this gentle, grounding workshop, we explore the female form as a sacred vessel - through the slow, meditative art of coil building. Over the course of the class, you'll learn to roll, layer, and shape coils of clay to form curves that echo the body: hips, waist, shoulders, softness.
This is not about precision - it's about presence. With each coil, you'll build not only structure, but story. The final piece becomes a vessel that holds more than water or flowers - it holds emotion, expression, and feminine power.
Mondays | 10am-1:30pm
$300 per student | 4-week course
Includes all materials, firings, and access to open studio time to nurture your practice.
Let your hands shape a vessel as tender and wild as a rose in bloom.
Mugs with Muses
A Dreamy Face Mug Workshop
Wednesdays | 12-2pm
$200 | 3-week workshop
Whispers in clay, lips that pout, eyes that wander-this is where pottery meets personality. Inspired by the feminine forms of female alchemy, this dreamy workshop invites you to sculpt a mug that feels alive with expression and soul.
We begin at the wheel, shaping our mugs through wheel throwing, then move into hand-sculpting faces-romantic, mysterious, sassy, or sweet. Each mug becomes a muse.
This class involves both wheel throwing and sculptural work. Previous wheel throwing experience is recommended but not required.
We'll finish with the final touches of painting or glazing your piece, ready to bring your vision to life.

Rose Ritual: A Flower Healing Workshop
Every Monday | 6pm–8pm
Step into a sanctuary of softness and sacred touch, where the rose becomes your guide and the body becomes your altar. In this gentle two-hour workshop, you’ll learn to perform a flower healing session using rose petals and floral essences. Whether you come with a partner, a dear friend, or choose to be paired with another guest, this experience is designed to hold you in warmth, trust, and grace.
You’ll be guided in how to:
-
Cleanse and anoint the body with rose-infused water and oils
-
Offer gentle petal placement, intentioned touch, and floral breath
-
Awaken energy centers through scent, presence, and ritual care
-
Create a space of reverence and connection through flower therapy
This is not a class in performance—it’s a ceremony of presence. You’ll take turns giving and receiving. It’s tender, intuitive, and deeply nourishing. You’ll leave feeling held, bloomed, and opened to new layers of love—whether shared or simply witnessed.
We’ll sip warm herbal tea together, and each guest will leave with a fresh rose to carry the ritual home.
$150 per pair
$85 for solo guests (gently paired with another guest)
All materials, fresh petals, floral essences, herbal tea, and take-home rose included.
This isn’t just a workshop—it’s a sensory healing ritual. Your investment supports the cost of fresh flowers, sacred materials, and the gentle guidance of a two-hour shared experience crafted with intention and love.
Spaces are limited to maintain intimacy.
Wear soft clothing. Bring an open heart.
